Reintroduction of processing fees on large cash deposits by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Hello Liman, We will like to inform you about the reintroduction of processing fees on large cash deposits by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Previously, you could deposit above N5,000,000 for individual accounts and N3,000,000 for corporate accounts without any processing fees.  However, effective Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, the following processing fees will apply again for deposits exceeding these amounts:   2% for individuals depositing over ₦500,000.  3% for corporates depositing over ₦3,000,000.
