Liman, Your Cash Withdrawal Limit is Changing

Dear Liman, The Central Bank of Nigeria has introduced a Naira Redesign Policy with revised cash withdrawal limits to take effect on January 9th, 2023.   What you need to know:   The maximum weekly cash withdrawal limit across all channels will be ₦500,000 Third-party cheques above ₦100,000 are NOT eligible for over-the-counter payment. The maximum limit for clearing cheques remains ₦10,000,000 In compelling circumstances where cash withdrawals above the limit are required for legitimate purposes, such request shall be subject to a processing fee of 3% and a written approval from the bank.
